Owners

Karen

Ms. Karen is one of the owners of Tri-Star.  She is the Co-Director of the Preschool & Recreation programs.  She has been teaching gymnastics for over 25 years.  She is USA Gymnastics Safety Certified and is CPR & first aid certified and is a certified CPR & first aid instructor.  She is also MELD & KAT certified.  She has attained the Professional Development Program – Level 1.  Karen completed the ACEF Sports Science Course as a Level Leader Coach.  She is a USA Nationally Ranked Gymnastics Judge.  Karen was a college level athlete in track & field and is a member of the UNH Hall of Fame.

Joni

Ms. Joni is one of the owners of Tri-Star and the Head Coach of the Girls Team.  She has been teaching gymnastics for over 20 years.  She is USA Gymnastics Safety Certified and is CPR & First Aid certified.

Haven

Mr. Haven is one of the owners of Tri-Star and Head Coach of the Boys & Girls Teams.  He has been teaching gymnastics for over 40 years.  He is USA Gymnastics Safety Certified and is CPR & First Aid Certified.  Haven is certified as a Meet Director.  He is a State of NH USA Gymnastics board member going on his 7th year and was the State Director of the State of NH for USA Gymnastics for 8 years. He served as Vice Chair for one year.  He has been on the NHIAA Gymnastics Board for 21 years.  He has attained the Professional Development Program – Level 1.  Haven completed the ACEF Sports Science Course as a Level Leader Coach.  He is also certified as a Skill Evaluator with USA Gymnastics.

Coaches

Paula

Ms. Paula is a Team Coach.  Ms. Paula has been teaching gymnastics for 20 years.  She is safety certified & KAT certified.  She is a certified Meet Director.  Paula has obtained her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at UNH.  Paula’s upbeat personality & positive attitude is a perfect match for our team program.

Desirae (Dez)

Miss Dez is our recreational program and tumbling director, head coach of our Xcel program, one of our team coaches and head birthday party host! She mostly coaches levels 2-8 but you could see her with tumbling or preschool too. She is also our social media manager.  Dez is a USAG Professional Member.  She was a gymnast in total for 14 years and with us as a competitive gymnast for 11 years. She was a level 9 when she graduated. She also was a competitive cheerleader for 6 years. She has been teaching for 16 years and 11 years as a team coach.  She was an instructor in training for 1 year under Ms. Karen and Ms. Mary and has been a lead instructor for 11 years. Desirae is a former member of the DHS Varsity Gymnastics Team and DHS Varsity Cheer Team.  Miss Dez’s coaching style mixed with her outgoing personality makes for a productive and fun practice!

Alyssa

Miss Alyssa is our preschool director, level 1 & 2 team coach, tumbling and recreational instructors as well as a birthday party host. She trained under Dez and Amy. She has been coaching 6 years and this is her 3rd year as a team coach. Alyssa is also a USAG Professional Member. Alyssa was a gymnast for 12 years , also a former competitive Tri-Star member, competing as a Xcel Platinum until she graduated. Alyssa is a former member of the SHS Varsity Gymnastics Team.  Miss Alyssa’s coaching style mixed with her calm energy makes for a productive class and perfect for our energetic preschoolers!

Amelia

Miss Amelia is one of our recreational, preschool and tumbling instructors. She is currently a college student. She was an all-star cheerleader for seven years and was previously coached by Miss Simone.  Amelia was trained under Joni, Alyssa and Dez. Amelia is also certified in First Aid & CPR and babysitting.  She loves working with kids and is very excited to be a coach here at Tri-Star Gymnastics. Her bubbly personality and smiling face has been a wonderful addition to our gym family!

Caitlin

Mrs. Caitlin is one of our recreational and advanced recreational instructors. She is a former competitive team gymnast for Tri-Star when we FIRST opened! She has been a gymnastics instructor at Tri-Star for 5+ years.  She is also one of our team parents and its been a joy coaching her children.  Caitlin graduated from UNH with a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy. Mrs. Caitlin’s coaching style and calm personality makes those tough skills more comforting for the kids to learn!

Simone

Miss Simone is one of our recreational and tumbling instructors. Simone has extensive training in cheerleading and tumbling. She was cheerleader for 5+ years and cheered on a worlds team!  Miss Simone’s coaching style mixed with her upbeat and energetic personality makes for a fun and exciting class!

Resha

Ms. Resha is one of our preschool and tumbling instructors. She also does private lessons. She has been coaching since she was 14.  Resha specializes in teaching competitive dancers and gymnasts. Ms. Resha’s coaching style and vibrant personality makes for a fun and high energy class!

Rebecca

Miss Rebecca is one of our Xcel team coaches.  She coaches our Xcel Bronze and Silver teams. She was a former dancer for 15 years, competitively for 4 and was an Xcel Gold.  Rebecca is Safety certified, CPR certified, & First Aid certified.  She is also a USAG professional member and has been coaching for 5 years. Miss Rebecca’s coaching style mixed with her dance background makes for some awesome fun routines for the girls!

Heather

Miss Heather is one of our preschool instructors. She has been coaching gymnastics for 2 years and coaching dance for 7 years. Heather has been a dancer since she was 3 and was also a gymnast for 6 years. She specializes in Ballet and Jazz! Heather is also a team parent, her daughter will be competing as a level 1 this year! She loves coaching and helping kiddos realize how awesome they truly are, she is their biggest cheerleader! Miss Heather’s coaching style mixed with her excitement makes for fun and productive class!

Miss Briella is one of our preschool instructors.

Office Staff

Kelli

Kelli has been part of the Tri-Star family since 2012 and a team parent since 2016.  She started working in the office in 2022.  Kelli’s bubbly personality has been a great addition to our Office Staff.

Maeghan

Maeghan has been a part of Tri-Star since 2017 and joined our office staff in 2022. She is a twin mom and also is one of our team parents! Maeghan has been a project manager for 20+ years, has a masters in Business and associates in Early Childhood and Accounting. She is also CPR and First Aid Certified. She also was a cheerleader for 6 years. Maeghan’s organization skills has been a wonderful addition to our office staff!
